As part of the “Abril em Odemira” cultural program, organized by the Odemira Municipal Council to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the 25th of April, INET-md researchers Hugo Castro and Ricardo Andrade will participate, on April 23rd, in a discussion about the book José Mário Branco: Entrevistas para a Imprensa (1970-2019), organized by Ricardo Andrade, Hugo Castro, and António Branco, recently published by Tinta-da-china with the support of INET-md, CEDJMB-ML, and the EXIMUS project, among other partner institutions.
On the same day, Hugo Castro will take part in the roundtable discussion “Música e ação política no pós-25 de Abril”, alongside Carlos Moreira and João Madeira (IHC), moderated by João Carlos Callixto.
As part of this initiative, from April 12th to May 16th, the exhibition “Do que um homem é capaz - o acervo de José Mário Branco,” produced by the CEDJM-ML, will also be on display.
