News | INET-md gets approval for six positions in FCT Tenure - 1st Edition
The final results of the 1st edition of the FCT Tenure program, published on 13 December, indicate that six of the nine positions submitted by INET-md were recommended for co-funding.
These tenure positions will allow the integration of six researchers:
- At NOVA University Lisbon, 2 chairs for Resarch Assistants, one in Ethnomusicology and the other in Historical Musicology, plus 1 chair for an Assistant Professor in Ethnomusicology and 1 chair for a Principal Researcher in Ethnomusicology;
- At the University of Aveiro, 2 posts for Research Assistants, one in Criation and Musical Performance and the other in Music Education.
The three positions that were not recommended for funding included: 1 post for an Assistant Professor in Music Acoustics and Sound Technologies at NOVA University Lisbon; 1 additional post for an Assistant Researcher in Music Education at the University of Aveiro; and 1 post for an Assistant Professor in Music Education at the Polytechnic of Porto.
