The book Music and the Making of Portugal and Spain: Nationalism and Identity Politics in the Iberian Peninsula (University of Illinois Press) is out. It contains several chapters authored by INET-md researchers, and was co-coordinated by Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco, President Emeritus of INET-md, by Matthew Machin-Autenrieth (University of Aberdeen) and by Samuel Llano (University of Manchester).
 
 
The book is available in open access, in its digital form, and can also be purchased at Combined Academic Publishers on-line bookstore, with 30% of discount, using the code: FFF23.
 
 
  
To mark this publication, a launch session will be held on 29 November at 5 pm, with the participation of the three coordinators of the book, as well as Kimberley Holton (Rutgers University) and Michael Christoforidis (Melbourne Conservatorium of Music).
