This study sought to understand the processes involved in implementing emergency remote teaching in instrument/singing classes during the first lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Portugal. This article discusses the results of the four main themes (adaptation process, strategies, limitations and implications) that emerged from the interviews conducted with eleven specialized artistic music teachers.

Both the journal and the article are available in open access on the APEM website.
