Biography
Eric Lana holds a degree in Music from the University Federal of Ouro Preto (Brazil), a master's degree in Education from Vale do Rio Verde University (Brazil) and a PhD student in Music - Choral Direction from the University of Aveiro (Portugal), in the performance studies as an integrated researcher to the Institute of Ethnomusicology Inet-MD / Portugal. In his PhD research, he is dedicated to the undertaking of digital music learning ecologies applied to choir singers. His professional experience goes through education, direction, singing, piano, recording and socio-cultural project management. He was a scholarship student at the Foundation of Artistic Education of Belo Horizonte, a professor at the University Federal of Ouro Preto and a Lyric singer at the Lyric Choir of Minas Gerais. Attended courses in choral and orchestral conducting in Brazil and abroad conducting choirs, orchestras and instrumental ensembles under the guidance of conductors, Celso Antunes (OSESP), Edésio Lara (UFOP), Osvaldo Ferreira (Portugal), Marco Antônio Silva Ramos (USP), Marco Aurélio Lischt (IMCP), Neylson Crepalde (UFMG), Vitor Gabriel (UNESP) and Winfried Toll (Germany), Cristoph Siebert (Germany), Claus Bantzer (Germany) and Borbála Szirányi (Hungary). He is currently the Artistic Director and Pedagogical and Project Coordinator of the Canarinhos de Itabirito Choir Cultural Association. He is Vice-President of the Federation National of Singing Boys of Brazil.
