Abstract
The bonds established by teenagers with music are increasingly linked to the use of mobile computing devices. A pilot study associated with a literature review indicated potentialities in the use of m-learning as a support tool for children and youth choral performance. The aim of this research is to develop new forms of choral practice that consider these musical learning ecologies and undertake m-learning as constitutive elements of pedagogical approaches applied to children and youth choral performance. The qualitative research will be divided into two parts: (i) systematic literature review based on the PRISMA protocol (Moher et al. 2009); and (ii) fieldwork - which will include an observational study in virtual communities and an action investigation based on the diagram of Mackay and Marshall (2001) in the Canarinhos choir of Itabirito / Brazil. The results of this research will be incorporated into a free digital content-gathering platform with approaches aimed at directors and singers, aimed at the wide dissemination of results and new perspectives and resources for choral practice.
