Biography
Mafalda Fonseca (1997) has a bachelor’s degree in Music Education (Porto Polytechnic - School of Education). She worked as a researcher on a Scientific Initiation grant, from September to December 2017 at the Centre for Research in Psychology of Music and Music Education/ Institute of Ethnomusicology, Centre for Music and Dance Studies (CIPEM/INET-md) under the guidance of Filipe Lopes.
In October 2018, she was a speaker in the seminar “CIPEM - 20 anos de Investigação e Prática” with the communication “Involuntary Musical Imagery: the earworm phenomenon” co-authored by Graça Boal-Palheiros. From October to December 2019, she worked as a researcher under an investigation grant at CIPEM/INET-md, under the guidance of Graça Boal-Palheiros.
She is currently taking her master’s degree in Music Teaching - Music Education (Porto Polytechnic - School of Education). Psychology of music and music pedagogy are her main academic interests.
