Biography
José Nelson Cordeniz studied saxophone at the Conservatório Regional de Angra do Heroísmo; He has studied about organology, collaborating in scientific projects about organs and carillons; beyond the musical practice activity he is teaching in the IMVM (Instituto de Música Vitorino Matono); currently he is finishing his PhD thesis (“The Carillons of Mafra”) in Musicology under the academic supervision of João Soeiro de Carvalho at the DCM of the FCSH/NOVA.
