Biography

She began her dance studies in 1996 through the aesthetics of classical ballet and jazz. She worked professionally as a dancer and choreographer, leading dance collectives since 2003. She was a member of the cast of the Centro Coreográfico do Theatro Sete de Abril where she deepened her studies in modern and contemporary dance. She graduated in Physical Education from the Federal University of Rio Grande, the institution where she would later take a Masters in Environmental Education. She has a specialization in Arts Teaching Methodology from Centro Universitário UNINTER. She was artistic director of the Le Moulin Cultural Station and also a substitute teacher for the Dance Degree course at the Federal University of Pelotas. Professor at the Federal Institute of Goiás since 2016, she teaches the Dance Degree course, also working as an Arts teacher in high school. Coordinates the Composite Body Dance Research Group. She is currently a PhD student at the Faculty of Human Motricity - UL, specializing in Dance. The study seeks to investigate whether the targeted study of movement influences subjects' learning preferences beyond the dance room.
