Biography
Has a BA in Physical Education from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1988) and in Dance from the Faculdade de Motricidade Humana (1999), a Master's degree in Education from the Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1994) and a PhD Sciences of Human Kinetics from the Universidade de Lisboa (2001). Currently works as a visiting assistant professor of the Institute for Estudos Interculturais e Transdisciplinares and as assistant professor at the Universidade de Pernambuco. Has experience in the area of Physical Education, with an emphasis on dance, developing research on the following topics: dance, education, special education, folk dance and body.
