News | Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco honored at "Jornadas de Música Histórica: Notas no Tempo"

On November 22, 2024, Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco, founder and president emeritus of, presented the opening talk of "Jornadas de Música Histórica: Notas no Tempo", held by Conservatório da Madeira.

On this occasion, the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology and the management of the Madeira Conservatory - School of the Arts, in the person of its director, Carlos Gonçalves, an integrated researcher at INET-md, honored Salwa Castelo-Branco with a surprise tribute, showing a short film about her career and offering a commemorative plaque at the opening ceremony of the meeting.
