Michele Akiko Toyama Leitão is a research fellow at INET-md, FMH branch. She holds a degree in Dance from FMH and a postgraduate degree in Artistic Practices and Social Inclusion from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Social Gerontology at ISCSP, where she explores aging processes to develop multidisciplinary projects that connect Dance and Performing Arts with social and political issues related to aging and social inclusion. She also trained in Classical Ballet through the Royal Academy of Dance and has a background in Data Processing (ETESP-SP, Brasil) and Office Automation and Secretariat (FATEC-SP, Brasil).
