Abstract
The research project has as its starting point the gap identified in the specialized artistic education of music in Portugal (EAEMP), where there is a teaching-learning of the instrument very focused on technique and music reading. Thus, this project proposes to create, identify and implement strategies that contribute to the development of the practice of playing by ear, to promote autonomy and artistic freedom in the students' performing voice. The research proposes a case study in the teaching-learning of the clarinet, using the Loop Station as a technological device. The application will be made as a complement to the current methodology of 1st and 2nd degree of EAEMP, in public national conservatories (Braga, Porto, Aveiro, Coimbra and Lisbon) in the clarinet teachers' classes.
