Abstract
This project initially arose out of curiosity to learn about the growing interest in Choro in Europe. Approximately since 2000 this Brazilian musical genre has gained significant projection on the continent, through the growth of performative spaces, presentations and institutionalization processes, translated into Choro clubs spread across the main European cities such as the Choro club in Paris (founded in year 2001, being the pioneer among the Choro clubs on the continent), and the Vienna Choro Club founded in 2019. The globalization process increased by the increasingly democratic access to the internet helped to drive these actions, favoring the dissemination of cry.
