Biography
Post Doctorate in Performance Arts (Faculty of Human Motricity, University of Lisbon - Portugal) and PhD. In Arts - Body Performances by the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO / Brazil). Award-winning choreographer and artistic director of Cia Ana Vitória Dança Contemporânea founded in 1997, dancer and visual artist having created several installations and dance videos with a focus on body poetics, self-performance and autobiographical memories. Adjunct Coordinator of the Professional Master in Dance in contemporary times - PPGPDAN from Faculdade Angel Vianna and the Postgraduate Course in Body Preparation for the Performing Arts - FAV / Brazil and Collaborating Researcher by Inet-MD (FMH-UL-Portugal), Sens- Lab (Canada) and NEPAA (Center for the Study of African-American Performance - Brazil). Since 2018 he lives in Portugal where he develops his artistic-pedagogical work on self-performing poetics.
