News | T:ME: Artistic Research Laboratory
T:ME: Artistic Research Laboratory is a pilot project that proposes a space for practice-based research, aiming to question the body and movement through the concepts of time and duration. Its goal is to open an experimental field of movement that transcends choreographic creation and theatrical performance, conveying movement into the anonymous realm of the body as pure duration.
The project takes place from November 2024 to April 2025, featuring interviews and laboratorial sessions led by nationally and internationally renowned artists such as Renato Ferracini, Sofia Dias and Vítor Roriz, Lander Patrick, and David Marques.
Based on this laboratory research, an article will be produced and published in a peer-reviewed academic journal.
This initiative is led by the researchers: Cecília de Lima, João Fernandes, and Madalena Xavier (Escola Superior de Dança - IPL), along with Luca Aprea (Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema - IPL), and is funded by INET-md.
