Open lecture | Ethics in Ethnomusicology: Continuing the Conversation
The closing session of the seminar, 'Ethics and Research Methods in Ethnomusicology' (MA in Musicology, NOVA FCSH), will take place on May 27th at 6 pm.
This session, titled "Ethics in Ethnomusicology: Continuing the Conversation', marks the culmination of the 2024 edition of the seminar 'Resarch Trends in Ethnomusicology', focusing on ethics and research methods in the field and coordinated by Marco Roque de Freitas.
It will feature esteemed speakers Beverly Diamond, Jonathan Stock and Salwa El-Shawan Castelo-Branco, who are editors of Transforming Ethnomusicology, vols. 1 & 2 (2021) and The Routledge Companion to Ethics and Research in Ethnomusicology (2023).
This session will be conducted as an online open lecture.
