In the 21st century, Portuguese wire violas have gained relevance within the scope of local cultural policies. Some of these wire violas have even been subject to certification processes. At this round table, we invited six violists to discuss this matter. The event is held within the scope of the activities of the research project EcoMusic - Sustainable practices: a study of the pos-folklorism in Portugal in the 21st century.
