Biography
Rita Torres is an Assistant Researcher at INET-md. She holds a PhD in Science and Technology of the Arts from the Portuguese Catholic University and degrees in Chemical Engineering, Guitar, Musicology/Music Informatics and Composition. She was a Research Fellow at CESEM (NOVA University Lisbon and the University of Évora); and a PhD researcher at CITAR (Portuguese Catholic University), and, a guest, at IMWI (Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe). Her work as a researcher is centered on guitar multiphonics, as well as on creative processes.
