Festival Dias da Música Electroacústica
The first festival Dni Muzyki Portugalskiej w Krakowie, in 2003, was conceived and produced by Jaime Reis and Julia Chmielnik, in Poland. In 2006, it was the first edition of the festival Dias de Música Electroacústica, as a partnership between INET-md and Conservatório de Música de Seia, that was supported by the Ministry of Culture in other editions that took place in Seia, a city in a remote area of the interior of Portugal, as well as several activities involving young people and the promotion of contemporary music in general, bringing musicians from Spain, Germany, Turkey, UK to people who probably would never heard about these musical practices. Recently, these activities were expanded through other areas in the interior and in the south of Portugal, and also in Spain (Madrid), Brasil (Salvador da Bahia) and other countries.
