International Conference

International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition (ICMPC) 

July 23th to 28th, 2018

The International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition (ICMPC) takes place every two years, and the 15th event in the series is planned for 23-28 July 2018. Continuing a traditional 6-year cycle, the conference will be combined with the 10th triennial conference of the European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (ESCOM). ICMPC15-ESCOM10 will be distributed across hubs on different continents, communicating via an internet cloud. We will strike a new balance between face-to-face and virtual communication and between activities on different continents to create a truly global conference. All talks at ICMPC15/ESCOM10 (23-28 July 2018) will be live streamed. Only registered participants will have access to these streams and (later) video recordings. 

Those who do not attend a hub will be able to participate remotely from anywhere in the world. They will watch live streams and videos, and contribute to written discussions.  You can register now as a remote participant at the registration page of the Graz hub.  Before the early registration deadline (30 April), remote registration costs 40, 20 or 10 Euros (depending on student status and country). In May, all remote registration fees will go up by 50%.
