Manuel Rodrigues Coelho: First complete recording of ‘Flores de musica pera o instrumento de tecla & harpa’ (1620)
The English award-winning record label Inventa Records-Resonus Classics has just released the fourth volume of the first complete recording of the monumental collection Flores de Musica pera o instrumento de tecla & harpa by Manuel Rodrigues Coelho (c.1555-1635), with interpretations by harpsichordist and musicologist Fernando Miguel Jalôto, under the production and editing direction of Tiago Manuel da Hora, both researchers at INET-md.
This edition will be presented to the public on 7 February as part of an early music concert at the Medeiros e Almeida Museum, by Fernando Miguel Jalôto (harpsichord) and Joana Amorim (flute). Admission is free.
