News | INET-md and DeCA Celebrate World Music Day with Interactive Event

On October 1st, the Aveiro branch of the Etnomusicologia - Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança (INET-md) and the Departamento de Comunicação e Arte (DeCA) are jointly organizing World Music Day celebrations with a series of musical performances between 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm, distributed around the Santiago Campus of the Universidade de Aveiro (UA).

During lunchtime on October 1st, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, the Library, the Meia lua, and the DeCA bar will be the stage for unexpected sound experiences, creating an immersive environment in keeping with the spirit of World Music Day. PhD students will lead the repertoire and musical performance from INET-md.

The whole event is free to attend and completely open to the community.
