The project "Trans/Atlantico," proposed by the Performa Ensemble to the Support Program for Projects – Internationalization, will support a tour to Colombia and Brazil by INET-md researchers Helena Marinho, Jorge Salgado Correia, and Henrique Portovedo.
For its part, this year, the Project Support Program – Music and Opera, directed to the commissioning of works and national and international circulation, chose to support two projects involving INET-md.
The project "Despojos," also proposed by Helena Marinho in partnership with La Nave Va, recognized in the Support Program for Projects – Music and Opera for the commissioning of works and national and international circulation, will involve, in addition to the Borealis Ensemble under the artistic direction of Helena Marinho and António Carrilho, composers with connections to INET-md and the Departamento de Comunicação e Arte da Universidade de Aveiro, namely Sara Carvalho, Jônatas Manzolli, and Francisco Ribeiro.
The project "Sumptuous Basses of the Patriarchal", which will also be supported by Programa Caixa Cultura, was submitted by the Ensemble Bonne Corde, following the doctorate research of Diana Vinagre, its artistic director, and also counts with the participation of Fernando Jalôto, both musicians and researchers associated to INET-md's branch in NOVA FCSH. The project results from a broad partnership, involving Movimento Patrimonial pela Música Portuguesa (MPMP), Atena 2-RTP, Museu Nacional da Música and Festival Internacional de Órgão e Música Sacra (FIOMS), proposing to present a modern premier of Messa a quatro voci, con Violoncelli, Fagotti, Basso, ed Organo by António de Pádua Puzzi (c.1762 - c.1819), already predicting a concert in Porto, the discographic recording for the label Ramée – Outhere Music, besides the publication of its score.
