Homage Concert | Francisco d’Orey: A life dedicated to music
On 2nd of June, INET-md joins other entities to promote a concert of homage to Francisco d’Orey. A pioneer in the introduction of new ways of working with music for voices, Maestro Francisco d'Orey (1931-2020) created a school that has multiplied to countless conductors and musicians in areas ranging from the recreation of oral tradition to vocal experimentation.
The musical performance will be accompanied by a photographic exhibition, with testimonies on the maestro's work and influence.
In the concert participate choirs formely directed by d'Orey: Coro do Círculo Cultural Scalabitano, Coro Polifónico Eborae Musica, Coro da Universidade de Lisboa, and Grupo Vocal Arsis e Cramol.
