ROSSIO Infrastructure – the largest Portuguese research infrastructure in the area of Social Sciences, Arts and Humanities – has published a new digital collection: Instrumentos Musicais Tradicionais em Portugal, in memory of Luís L. Henrique (1951-2021), musicologist, specialist in musical acoustics and organology.

Created by Marco Roque de Freitas (integrated researcher of INET-md), this collection is intended as a pedagogical tool for school audiences and all those interested in musical traditions, and adds to other contributions from the same researcher in the field of ethnomusicology and studies in musical practices, with the collection Silêncio que se vai cantar o Fado and the exhibitions A festa and Em nome do Povo: Folclore musical e nacionalismo em Portugal.

The abovementioned outputs were coordinated and revised by Amélia Aguiar Andrade (IEM) and Daniel Ribeiro Alves (IHC).
