Open call for applications for an Assistant Researcher position, in the area of Music, on an uncertain fixed-term employment contract, to work at the Institute of Ethnomusicology - Center for Studies in Music and Dance | DeCA UA.

General admission requirements:
The competition is open to national, foreign, and stateless candidates who hold a doctoral degree in Music (or a related scientific area) and a scientific and professional curriculum vitae that reveals a profile appropriate to the activity to be carried out. Applicants for the competition who hold qualifications obtained abroad must provide proof of the recognition, equivalence, or registration of the doctoral degree, under the terms of the applicable legislation. This formality must be completed by the date the contract is signed.

Documents for formalizing applications:
  • Copy of a detailed curriculum vitae structured accordingly;
  • Other documents relevant to the assessment of the qualification in a related scientific area;
  • Artistic research project: Document to support a future mission letter which should include a proposal for the activities that the candidate intends to carry out during the term of the contract as an Assistant Researcher, explaining how he/she can contribute to the progress and development of CDL-CTTRI-261-SGRH/2023;
  • the scientific area for which the competition is open, in terms of science, art, and cooperation with society;
  • Any other documents that the candidate considers relevant, particularly for the assessment of the information;
  • The curriculum vitae must include
  • a) Candidate's full name;
  • b) A copy of the qualification certificates with the respective classification or other suitable document legally recognized for this purpose;
  • All relevant information for assessing the application, taking into account the selection criteria set out in this notice;
  • The application must be fully completed, dated, and signed.
