Starting from the principle that music has co-created our society, the lecturer and researcher will talk about what this means for professional music education. What roles can former conservatoire students play in our contemporary daily lives? Do we need to rethink and perhaps expand these roles? And how can artistic research be useful in this area? What new perspectives can be developed so that music is seen (again) as crucial to our well-being, and indispensable to the direction of our civilization?

The class is free to attend.
