This book seeks to transcend the conventional barriers of music education, questioning the overemphasis on musical notation and the rigidity of traditional approaches. It promotes a more open and flexible view of music, where the diversity of styles and genres is valued, as well as the inclusion of learners' experiences in the creative process. Ultimately, this book is a valuable tool for educators, researchers, and practitioners in music education who wish to promote innovative development in the classroom. Its content demonstrates that creativity is not only a complementary aspect of music education but a fundamental pillar that drives meaningful learning, personal expression, and holistic growth of students.

The book is already for sale on the publisher's website and very soon we will also have a physical copy in the INET-md Aveiro library.
