Seminar | Music Festivals in Portugal and Europe | Ana Filipa Carvalho - Production and programming of Music Festivals and large-scale events
On the 2nd of June, at 4pm, in room B210 (FCSH | Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Torre B, Av. de Berna), the seventh open class of the Seminar Festivals of Music in Portugal and Europe will take place, taught by the researcher from INET-md Sofia Vieira Lopes.
Ana Filipa Carvalho, Director of Teatro Tivoli BBVA and former Producer of the promoter Música no Coração, will be the guest of this sixth open class, dedicated to the topic: "Production and programming of Music Festivals and large-scale events".
In this session, Ana Filipa Carvalho will present to the FCSH community the processes involved in the production of large-scale music events and the best known Music Festivals in Portugal. Drawing on her vast experience, she will demonstrate how a programming strategy is put into practice and the challenges inherent in organizing large-scale events.
This is the seventh of several sessions open to the community.
