The Post-ip group, made up of a group of INET-md students, has just launched the first episode of the "Pod-ip" Podcast, which promises to be a platform for relevant information in the field of music and dance. The inaugural episode, available on the group's Youtube and Spotify pages, features a special guest appearance by Samuel Barros, a former member of Post-ip who has a PhD in Music.
The first episode of Pod-ip "Performance Anxiety" features the special participation of a former Post-ip member, Samuel Barros, who played a significant role in the group's activities during his time as a master's and doctoral student in performance at UA. In this episode, Samuel will talk about his research topic, which is related to anxiety in performance.
Samuel Barros holds a PhD in Music (Performance Studies) and a Master's degree in Music (Performance), both from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and a degree in Music from the State University of Ceará. He is a substitute professor in the Arts department at UFMT, in Cuiabá (Mato Grosso) and develops research in the area of music psychology, specifically on anxiety in musical performance in the context of music education and teaching. For seven years, he was a research associate at INET-md (Instituto de Etnomusicologia - Centro de Estudos em Música e Dança) and was awarded a doctoral scholarship by the Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia (FCT). As a trombonist, he plays in a variety of orchestras, chamber music groups and Brazilian music, and is also involved in teaching and learning the instrument.
