Concert | ANIMA – latin-american music for piano four hands
Tomorrow, October 3, at 6 p.m., the Castelo-Reis Duo will bring a four-handed concert to the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA): "ANIMA – latin-american music for piano four hands". With a repertoire dedicated to disseminating Latin American music, this concert is yet another activity promoted by the Center for Music and Dance Studies (INET-md).
The Castelo-Reis Duo comprises pianists Carla Reis and Ricardo Castelo Branco, both from the Music Department of the Federal University of São João del-Rei, in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Formed in 2022, on the occasion of the concert in honor of the memory of Prof. Jayme Guimarães, the duo brings an unprecedented proposal to the Brazilian scene, with a repertoire totally dedicated to the dissemination of Latin American music for piano four hands and solo piano training.
The concert, open to the public and with free admission, will take place at 6 p.m. in DeCA's CCCI Auditorium.
