On October 19 this year, the 8th INET-md Forum will be held at the Faculty of Human Kinetics of the University of Lisbon, this time under the motto Sharing paths, insisting on the future.

The eighth edition of this meeting, open to the entire INET-md team, will this time focus on the evaluation process of the research units conducted by FCT, now underway. For this reason, the morning will be dedicated to discussing INET-md's Strategic Project for the coming years (2025-2030), in a session promoted by the Institute's Board of Directors, and to a dynamic SWOT analysis (Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats), so that we can think together about INET-md's future.

The afternoon will be divided between two round tables, one promoted by the newly-elected Doctoral Students Committee and the Post-IP Group, and the other which aims to debate the potential of thematic lines in INET-md's work, bringing together Manuel Deniz Silva and Cristina Fernandes, coordinators of previous thematic lines, meanwhile extint, and the coordinators of the Institute's four new thematic lines: Heritage(s), Archives and Museums; Studies on Women, Gender and Sexuality; Power, Politics and Activism; and Digital and Technological Performativities.
