This performance aims to recreate the myth of Medea, reviving Maria Helena da Rocha Pereira's historical translation of Euripides' text, which will be juxtaposed with the depiction of the Rio de Janeiro suburbs under Brazil's 1970s military dictatorship, as presented by Chico Buarque and Paulo Pontes in Gota d’Água, and the post-Cold War destruction described by Heiner Müller in Medea material. The performance will engage in a dialogue between the incidental music composed by Macedo Pinto for Medea's 1950s performances and Buarque's music featured in Gota d’Água, combining live performance with pre-recorded media.

The cast includes Catarina Martins, Cristina Valente, Ana de Sousa, and Thales Luz, accompanied by musicians Gustavo Afonso (piano), Irina Camões (flute), and Ismael Silva (percussion). Sound design will be by Tatiana Almeida and technical direction by Diogo Lobo.
