CPIA Permanent Symposium | “Guitarra inédita: novas obras e arranjos para guitarra” concert
"Guitarra inédita: novas obras e arranjos para guitarra" is the name of the concert on November 23rd, organized by the Permanent Symposium of the Creation, Performance and Artistic Research Group (CPIA), to be held in the Auditorium of the Department of Communication and Art (DeCA) at the University of Aveiro (UA), at 5.30pm. Daniel Wolff will be playing guitar, accompanied by Pedro Rodrigues and Helena Marinho, both researchers at INET-md.
In this concert, Brazilian guitarist and composer Daniel Wolff will perform works by Brazilian composers that have never been performed in Portugal before, including music by himself. He will also present arrangements, also new to the country, of works by Bach and Beethoven (recorded on the recent albums Beethoven for Guitar and Guitar, Joy of Man's Desiring), as well as famous songs by Tom Jobim, icon of bossa nova.
This concert, which is free and open to all, will also feature the special participation of Pedro Rodrigues on guitar and Helena Marinho on piano.
