Biography
Ana Isabel Cruz finished a Master Degree in Chemistry, in 2008, at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Afterwards she studied Music Education at the School of Education of the Porto Polytechnic, from 2009 to 2012, and concluded a Master Degree in Music Teaching in Basic Education, in 2015, at the same institution. From 2012 to 2015 she was a research fellow at CIPEM - Branch of INET-md at the Porto Polytechnic, within the scope of the project PTDC/CPE-CED/120596/2010: “Promoting social inclusion through engagement with music – the project Orquestra Geração”. Currently she teaches Music within the framework of Curricular Enrichment Activities, at Primary Schools of the Agrupamento de Escolas de Coronado e Castro. She also works as a Music Expression and Ear Training teacher of the Musical Initiation Course at Escola de Música Óscar da Silva.
